Moʻo Lagoon

Moʻo Lagoon

Moʻo — gecko, lizard, guardian of hidden water

The lagoon is too clear to seem entirely real. Water spills over mossy rock, meliʻa blossoms drift in the current, and small moʻo flash blue and green along the leaves at the edge.

Old stories place powerful moʻo near pools and streams, guardians of fresh water and the mysteries around it. These little geckos carry a playful echo of that world, bright-eyed keepers of a secret place.
