The Grumpy Walker
A frogfish makes its way across the coral ledge, not swimming but walking — step by step on fins bent like little feet. Its grumpy face is one of the great characters of the reef.
It looks slow, and it is — until dinner comes close. Then the frogfish's huge mouth opens faster than the eye can follow. The rest of the time, it simply stomps around looking unimpressed.
