The Spanish Dancer
Out of the deep blue comes a swirl of crimson — a Spanish dancer, one of the largest sea slugs in the world, its ruffled skirts folding and unfolding like a flamenco dress in motion.
When it swims, the whole creature ripples in waves of scarlet. It needs no shell and no armor; its brilliant color is a warning that it is anything but a good meal.
