Naiʻa Spiral Bay

Naiʻa Spiral Bay

Naiʻa — spinner dolphin, the acrobat of island bays

In a golden morning bay, the pod of naiʻa is at play. One dolphin spins high into the air, trailing bright water, while the rest of the pod glides in easy formation through the sunbeams below — two worlds in a single frame, divided only by the surface.

Spinner dolphins rest in shallow bays by day and hunt in the deep by night. Their spinning leaps are joy made visible, and this quiet water is where they come to feel safe.
