Cathedral of Moana
Moana — the open ocean, vast, deep, and shining
The great beams of morning pour down through the open moana and light a river of fish from above — silvery schools streaming over the reef, yellow tangs bright as lanterns, rays and whales passing in the far blue like shadows of greater things.
Rising into the light, a honu carries the whole scene together. This is the reef as it truly is: not a collection of creatures but one vast cathedral, alive from the sand to the sun.
