Atemoya
Atemoya is the sugar-apple's island offspring — a hybrid of sugar-apple and cherimoya with scalloped green skin and a white custard heart threaded with seeds.
It grows in the humid districts and is eaten the traditional way: split in half with your hands and eaten cold with a spoon.
