What the Ocean Shaped

Salt, sun and years of turning have polished this driftwood into something no carver could plan. Roots curl like waves, pale grain follows every bend and the whole piece seems to hold the journey that brought it ashore.

Against turquoise water it becomes a quiet beach sculpture — beautiful precisely because wind and ocean were allowed to finish the work.
