Garden Dragon
The iguana has chosen the warmest stone in the garden and seems fully aware of its own prehistoric elegance. Sun moves over scales, dew dries from the flowers, and nothing about the morning can hurry it.
Iguanas are not native to Hawaiʻi, yet island gardens have a way of turning every visitor into a character. Among hibiscus and ʻokika, this one looks like a small green dragon keeping watch over the blooms.
