Hoʻokipa

Hoʻokipa means “hospitality,” the Hawaiian value of welcoming a guest completely. Fittingly, this windswept stretch became a gathering place for the world's windsurfers in the 1980s, and the turtles that haul out on its sand each evening are given the same welcome.
