Silk in the Open Blue
A blanket octopus opening her iridescent webs to the current
Far from the coral, a blanket octopus opens her delicate webbing to the open sea. Violet, cobalt, and rose pass through the translucent folds as they gather and release the current.
She seems less like a creature moving through water than a piece of the ocean dreaming itself into silk. Sunbeams follow as she rises into the clear blue.
