Honu Flying
Honu — the green sea turtle
With both front flippers stretched wide, a honu stops swimming and simply flies — the same underwater glide that carries these turtles thousands of miles of open ocean. Hawaiian families count the honu among their ʻaumakua, guardians of safe passage, and this is exactly the shape that earned them the name.
