Blue Dragon

Blue Dragon

Lavender plumes on a tiny back

The blue dragon nudibranch eats hydroids and keeps their stinging cells alive in its own feathery plumes, borrowing a weapon it never had to grow. It also farms algae in its tissue, so a well-fed dragon can get part of its living from sunlight.
