Varicose Wart Slug

Sea slugs like the varicose wart slug are snails that gave up the shell somewhere back in evolutionary time and traded armor for chemistry. It moves at a pace measured in inches per hour, and the blue-black frill along its edge is a signal to any fish considering a bite.
