Keiki at the Tide Pool
Keiki — children
At low tide, a lava shelf becomes a window. Tiny striped fish hold against the surge, crabs disappear sideways, and every still puddle reveals more life the longer the children look.
The first lesson is gentle observation: wet hands, quiet feet, nothing carried home. Keiki who learn to wonder at a tide pool also learn why the reef deserves their care.
