Culinary ginger — the warming root for an unsettled stomach
Used for: easing nausea, motion sickness and an upset stomach, and warming the body through colds and chills.
How to use: slice a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, simmer in two cups of water for ten minutes, strain, and add honey and lemon. Sip slowly. Check with a doctor if you take blood thinners.
