'Ala'ala Wai Nui
Used for: thrush and mouth sores in babies, sore eyes, headaches, and skin trouble. A cool, watery plant for hot conditions.
How to use: the juice pressed from the fleshy leaves and stems is dabbed inside a baby's mouth or used as a cool wash for irritated skin and eyes. Crushed leaves are laid on the temples for a headache.
