Pufferfish Face

A little pufferfish pauses directly in front of the lens, all round eyes and tiny pursed mouth. Behind that comic expression, yellow and blue reef fish carry on through the coral as if nothing unusual has happened.

Curiosity brings the puffer close, but calm keeps it in its natural shape. Its famous defense is saved for real danger; today, the reef's most expressive face simply wants a better look.
