Garden Eel Meadow
Across the sandy floor, garden eels rise from their burrows and lean together in the current. Each stays anchored below while its slender body reaches up to gather drifting food from the clear water.
Colorful fish pass above the meadow, but the eels hold their quiet places. At the first hint of danger they vanish into the sand, then slowly bloom again when peace returns.
