Moorish Idol Morning

The Moorish idol moves with a banner streaming behind it, black, white, and yellow against the blue. A butterflyfish crosses nearby, and for a moment the reef becomes a quiet procession.

Sunbeams settle on the coral like silk. The fish pass through them lightly, never disturbing the hush.
