Electric Clam

The clam opens its mantle to the light, and the blue inside looks almost impossible — electric, rippled, alive. Butterflyfish pass above it like small yellow commas.

Set among gold coral, it feels like a treasure chest that never needed a lock. The reef protects it by letting it belong.
