Old-World Guava Oat Scones

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups whole-wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup cold butter, cubed
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup finely diced guava or guava purée
  • 1 tbsp honey

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F and line a pan.
  2. Mix flour, oats, baking powder, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Stir in yogurt, milk, guava, and honey just until a dough forms.
  4. Shape into a round, cut into 8 wedges, and bake 16–19 minutes until golden.
