The Beginning of Always
I barely remember the vows. I was so nervous my hands were shaking, and the wind kept stealing my veil. What I remember is the moment right after, when he leaned in and whispered, “We did it.” The sun was going down, my feet were full of sand, and I laughed so hard I cried. Every time I see this picture, I can still smell the salt air and the plumeria in my bouquet.
