Ingredients
- 2 oz blanco tequila
- 1 oz fresh lilikoʻi (passion fruit) pulp
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz agave or honey syrup
- Coarse sea salt, for the rim
- Half a passion fruit and a lime wheel, to garnish
Directions
- Salt half the rim of a rocks glass.
- Shake the tequila, passion fruit pulp, lime, and syrup hard with ice.
- Pour over fresh ice cubes.
- Garnish with half a passion fruit and a lime wheel.
Lilikoʻi vines grow wild along the back roads — the fruit is ripe when it wrinkles and falls on its own.
