Coconut Stand Dog

The coconut stand has a stack of fresh niu, a patch of deep shade and one unofficial greeter stretched out beside the weathered boards.

Cars come and go along the coast road, but he lifts his head only for familiar voices. He knows every good roadside stop begins with an unhurried welcome.
